Palomar Medical Center (Escondido, CA) is testing a wearable wireless vital signs monitor for surgical patients. Made by Sotera Wireless (San Diego), the “ViSiMobile” (SEE VIDEOS) device, about 5”x 3”x 2”, is worn on the wrist with a pulse ox attachment to the finger and BP cuff on the arm.
