3-D Printing with Embryonic Stem Cells

Cytologists in Scotland have used 3-D printing with human embryonic stem cells to create artificial tissues which, first, can be used for in vitro drug testing, and, in due course, in manufacturing human organs for transplantation. Researchers at Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh) carried out the translational work, while Roslin CellLab will handle commercial developments. MORE
