Really Sensible Shoes

A University of Utah mechanical engineering professor has developed a shoe insole, equipped with an accelerometer and gyroscopes that tracks movement and sends that data wirelessly to a smart phone. She calls it a “rapid rehab system,” and supposes it would help with people having artificial limbs, hip replacements and broken legs. MORE
