Vital Signs Monitor
Calling their device a “life and activity monitor,” researchers at Oregon State University and the University of California-San Diego have developed a vital signs detector, 2” in diameter, that can be worn close to the body but not actually attached to it. It records heart rate, respiration and movement with a USB port to download the data. If this device also had wireless capability and could be placed in automobile and airliner seats, its possibilities extend beyond being just a cool pedometer. MORE

Pedometers are very helpful if you want to measure how far you are jogging or running. They are also very handy and can fit in anyones pocket. ,::,*
