Business analyst Kalorama Information (NYC) reports that the fastest growing sector (in terms of earned revenue) for medical devices is that for wireless tools which monitor patients’ vital signs both within hospitals and between hospital and home. At an average growth of 23% since 2008, wireless patient monitors have outpaced minimally-invasive surgical devices, specialty catheters and defibrillators, and this shows no signs of slowing.  COPD and diabetes are the top conditions driving this market.   MORE
