Microarray Diagnostic for Cystic Fibrosis
September 5, 2011 | Terry Sharrer
Over 1,500 DNA mutations have been implicated in cystic fibrosis, and as much as 5% of Caucasians have one or more of these markers. Astra Biotech GmbH (Luckenwale, Germany) has developed a microarray panel that tests for 25 of the most common CF mutations, which holds promise for more accurate screening. MORE
