“Lovotic” Robots

It might be more likely that your robot could love you more than you could love your robot. But in either case, researchers at the Social Robotics Lab of the National University of Singapore are working on “artificial intelligence” programs so machines can indicate happiness, sadness, fear, surprise, disgust and anger in a field they call “lovotics.” Maybe the next frontier is human-machine marriage.
