Materials scientists at the University of British Columbia have developed a novel “polymer brush” implant coating that is non-toxic to human tissue, antimicrobial and biofilm resistant.  The brushes are made of hydrophilic polymer chains holding broad spectrum antimicrobial peptides.  In vivo testing had positive results.   MORE
