Imagine taking a tumor biopsy, then growing those cells in culture with a synthetic nanoparticle that can both deliver a drug and then be retrieved to see which targets it hit. That’s the scenario Purdue University professor W. Andy Tao has followed with the synthetic drug delivery nanoparticle he developed. He captures the naonparticles on magnet beads and identifies the attached proteins by mass spectroscopy. MORE
