During last month’s state visit of China’s President Hu Jintao to Washington, both sides agreed to a public-private partnership to promote research, training and policy initiatives in healthcare.  American companies in this agreement include 3M, Abbott, Cisco, IBM, Intel, Medtronic, Microsoft, et al.  Funding for a “Healthcare Professional Exchange Program” will come from the US Trade and Development Agency.     MORE
