Magnetic Tracking and Control of Pills in the GI Tract

Several times, Tagline has reported on “smart pills” that use cameras and magnet guidance for location specifics in the GI tract. This story about researchers at Brown University is similar, but in addition to magnetic movement, the pill has a reservoir that can release a drug at a point where it could have the most beneficial effect.
