The news service company Thomson Reuters announced its second annual review of the top ten healthcare systems in the US, and except for Scripps Health in San Diego, CA and Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ, the other eight were in Ohio (4), Michigan (2) or Minnesota (2).  TR reviews 255 health systems and based its top ten, most importantly, on lower mortality, fewer medical complications and fewer safety incidents, but also took lower length of stay, lower readmission rates, adherence to clinical standards of care and patient satisfaction into account.            MORE
