William Busse

In this NIH listing of grant winners in 2009, Johns Hopkins University ranked first with nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars, with the University of Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, University of California-San Francisco, and the University of Washington filling out the top five.  The University of Wisconsin’s William Busse was first among principal investigators, winning more than $56m in grants.
