Unless the neighbors make a case against increased road traffic, a new $10b science city will proceed in Shady Grove, MD, where The Johns Hopkins University Life Sciences campus and several biotech companies already form the base. Montgomery County officials suppose the number of new jobs for the area could approach 40,000 (adding to the 20,000 already at work)-rivaling North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park.
