Leroy Hood

Predictive, personalized, preventative and participatory (“P4”) is the future of medicine as genomics pioneer Leroy Hood sees it.  Among other things, he predicts that individual genomes will become a standard for medical records within the next decade.  Hood heads the Institute for Systems Biology and soon will announce a partnership with Ohio State University to create the “P4 Medical Institute” as a test bed for molecular medicine and information science.  MORE
