InTouch Critical Care Bed - Stryker

At the Medical Automation Conference last December, Dr. Pamela Cipriano (UVA) mentioned a high end critical care hospital bed that deserves another look.  Stryker (Kalamazoo, MI) is the manufacturer, and its “InTouch” model integrates a multifunctional foot-end touch screen, an exit alarm, a protocol tree, on board sound therapy, and spoken translation for 24 languages.  The translator is not speech to speech, but relies on recorded messages to communicate with patients.  MORE
