Alzheimer’s and Down’s Syndrome: The Same Disease?

Researchers found a link-amyloid beta damage-between Down’s Syndrome and Alzheimer’s two decades ago, but now it appears that the same link is shared in cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Amyloid beta damage occurs in the microtubes during cell division. But this does not imply that all patients of these four diseases have the same molecular symptom; rather, some patients with each disease have something in common with some patients of the other diseases, and that may even be more significant than what the few in each case have in common with most in their disease cohort.
