Social Networking for Clinical Trials
September 29, 2009 | Terry Sharrer
Drug-maker Pfizer (New York City) has engaged the social networking company, Private Access (Irvine, CA) to create what the partners are calling a “privacy enhanced search engine for personal health information.” This will allow patients and physicians to identify open clinical trials, and researchers and drug companies to find patients who are appropriate for their studies. Patients will have privacy options allowing them to choose who gets access to their personal health records. MORE
