Self-Assembling Nanoparticles

In a recent issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a research team from Microsoft and MIT reported on their computer modeling algorithm the predicts electrical charge affinity for nanoparticles self-assembling into useful structures. There is uncertainty about how this approach might be used, but obviously, nanostructures that can be baited to collect marker proteins from blood, sweat and tears is one possibility. MORE
