On April 9, the Obama administration announced its plan for linking Defense Department and Veterans’ Affairs medical records into one electronic system that would document health care for an individual from the time he or she enters military service for the rest of their life.  This is part of a huge increase in appropriations for military medicine that could transition to civilian healthcare.     MORE
