Sanitizing Robots

Several hospitals in the UK and Europe are employing “Sterinis” robots to sanitize patient areas. One robot sprays a fine mist of hydrogen peroxide that settles on every surface of a room and kills germs. Sandwell Hospital in England has seen a dramatic decline in hospital acquired infections from using these robots. “Sterinis” is a trade name of the robot produced by Gloster Sante Europe and Canon.
