Sea Coral

Who knew?  Ordinarily, Tagline does not track new drug developments, but this one simply has a good smell to it.  Human Pheromone Sciences, Inc. (San Jose, CA) has filed a comprehensive patent application for a new compound, “ER303,” which supposedly has a significant emotional impact on men and women, stimulating a sense of well being and attraction.  The source of this compound is sea coral.  HPS envisions putting it into a range of everyday consumer products, as it did earlier in licensing its pheromone “androstadienone” to Avon, Johnson & Johnson, et al.  See ER303’s website
