Digital HealthCare has an interesting interview about personalized medicine it conducted with Andrew Mellin, McKesson’s VP for Predictive Care Solutions.  The company believes that it can develop predicative risk models for adverse events that could be used clinically right away, while then being in place when more detailed information enters EMR’s from molecular diagnostics and bioinformatics in the future. The objective is to automatically calculate a risk score that can support better therapeutic decision making.  MORE
