Gujurat—India’s westernmost state, bordering Pakistan—has arranged a telemedicine project with the Indian Space Research Organization (Bagalore) to enhance health services in rural areas. ISRO will provide free satellite connectivity so doctors will have easier and faster access to diagnostic labs and specialists at medical schools.
