Sick Care Today, Healthcare Tomorrow
October 29, 2007 | Brian J. Silverstein
Health care today is an oxymoron. People seek out assistance when they have a problem, which creates stressors and challenges to our current system. Market forces are beginning to coalesce that individually are incremental, but in combination, are significant towards changing the way care is needed, delivered, and paid for. As technology improves, our understanding and management of disease advances presetting new care pathways. This session will highlight current and future disease and treatment landscapes with a focus on how market and technology factors will impact care in the future.
