Non-Intrusive Health Monitoring for Post-Battle Wellness Management
AFrame Digital is an early-stage company that is developing an innovative end-to-end wireless, mobile health monitoring system. The system consists of a wearable device with various sensors, a data aggregation and transmission device and an intelligent database storage system capable of intelligent medical condition assessment using Bayesian analysis system. AFrame’s market validation research shows that the market for the product is very large. AFrame plans to focus on the eldercare market since our research show the greatest need exists here.
AFrame has completed an SBIR Phase I project with DARPA entitled “Non-Intrusive Health Monitoring for Post-Battle Wellness Management”. AFrame’s preliminary results show that the advanced analytic (Bayesian) system that AFrame has developed can accurately predict patient outcome if given monitoring inputs and can provide medical decision support to caregivers.
AFrame has been awarded the Phase II continuation of this project to develop a commercially viable system. AFrame has begun work on the Phase II project at this time. AFrame will present results of the Phase I project and plans for along with early results for Phase II.
