William A. Neely's bio:

Dr. William Neeley received his M.D. degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine as well as a Masters degree from Case Western Reserve University. He completed his internship in Pathology and residency in Clinical Pathology from University Hospitals in Cleveland. He is Board Certified in Clinical Pathology by the American Board of Pathology and is Board Certified in Clinical Chemistry by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry.

A large part of his career was spent on the full time faculty at the University of California, San Diego and Yale University, New Haven. He is currently Medical Director of Detroit Medical Center University Laboratories involving seven hospitals, numerous stat labs and a core laboratory. The laboratories do greater than 12 million billable tests per year. His research is focused on new ideas and cost-effective designs for automated systems for clinical laboratories.
