Dr. Ing Takenga's bio:

Dr.-Ing Takenga received the BSc. and MSc. Degrees in Radio engineering and Telecommunication from the Saint Petersburg State Technical University in 2001 and 2003 respectively. He received his PhD. Degree in electrical engineering from the Leibniz University of Hannover with the Institute for Communication Technology in 2007. Dr. Takenga is currently working at the Industry with the R&D department of the Infokom GmbH in Neubrandenburg, Germany. His research interests are focused on conceiving and developing new telemedical and e-health solutions, which will help decrease the costs of health care systems while improving the quality of service. The R&D Department of the Infokom works in collaboration with a number of international partners. This department collaborates in several international joint-projects and studies focusing in integrating IT-technologies in the health sectors.
