Medtronic’s surgical robot aims to rival the da Vinci machine with AI and machine learning.  “Emerging AI surgical systems could even be trained to automatically detect if a surgical device goes out of view of the surgical scope during a procedure and stop the device from activation, thus avoiding inadvertent injury.
