Lithium sensor

Bipolar patients rely on lithium carbonate medication, but the amount they take is close to a toxic effect.  An inexpensive paper test, where a color change indicates the dosage taken, would be useful, and creating that is what researchers at Hokkaido University have done.  Their next step is to work this into a smartphone app.  MORE
