Prototype portable MR

This piece mostly is business-related about a Guilford, CT company, Hyperfine, which is developing small, portable MRI machines.  The best MRIs produce clear images, but are enormous in terms of both size and cost.  Hyperfine’s machine doesn’t produce the image quality of the big machines, but some pictures are very good or good enough and the unit is about the size of a luggage cart, is portable and costs around $50k.   MORE
