Medical-Grade Non-Contact Temperature Sensor

This is not an endorsement for Melexis’ (Ypres, Belgium) non-contact temperature sensor, but it does support much of the R&D research MAIN’s readers conduct. Small changes in temperature can reveal fever, anxiety, metabolic rate, and even time of death (to a point). This small, portable sensor can be built into wearables, or simply located where sensoring must be done without touching the patient. MORE
