Data Analytics When Patients Don’t Trust Data

Now, as we proceed into the era of “big data” healthcare, a recent survey reveals that more than half of Americans are skeptical about patient portals, mobile apps, and EHRs, while nearly everybody is worried about health data security and primary care physicians’ ability to interpret test information. The result is incomplete medical histories and patient distrust of both the data-gathering platforms and their doctors.
