With flexible batteries and piezoelectric materials incorporated into running shorts, researchers at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (Clayton South, VIC, Australia) have, in effect, figured out how to turn chaffing into electricity which can power wearable or portable devices.
