Google Glass for Parkinson Patients

Parkinson’s sufferers experience many difficulties beyond the unsteady gait. Tremors can make it difficult to use every day appliances. Researchers at Newcastle University in the UK are studying how Google Glass can ameliorate some of these problems, but what goes unsaid in this piece is that the microchip in Google Glass is only a couple of inches from the brain and what can be done with such a wearable device now or soon might not be far ahead of an implantable one that could interface directly with the brain.
