Enhanced Critical Care Monitoring

Mayo Clinic has created its “Enhanced Critical Care Program,” 24/7/365, for its sickest patients and the call center at its Rochester hub extends to five cities in Minnesota and two in Wisconsin.  With new CMS regulations about not paying for hospital readmission for the same condition within 30 days, more healthcare providers likely will follow Mayo’s lead.
