Researchers at the New Jersey Institute of Technology have taken an important step toward identifying different cells by their electrical properties. This is short of creating a unique electrical “signature” for a cell type, but it is a move in that direction. The technique involves depositing carbon nanotubes on a lab chip by electrophoresis, which then can detect the distribution of electrical charges in cells and indicate whether those cells are healthy or sick. Its a new thing in detecting that I have come across. Thanks for sharing.
