Not long ago, opponents of healthcare reform asserted that the US had the best healthcare system in the world and it didn’t need fundamental change. Maybe that’s arguable, but this report, from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, isn’t about the uninsured, and incurables. It’s about the number of cancer survivors who, after the fight of their life, then have to deal with bankruptcy as a consequence of their successful treatment. MORE
