Embryonic Muscle Stem Cell

With support from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, the Ontario Research Fund, Ontario Innovation Trust, and the Center for Commercialization of Regenerative Medicine, sixty-five research labs in Ontario have banded together to create a common economic development driver named the Ontario Stem Cell Initiative. Perhaps this organization can accomplish for regenerative medicine what the University of Toronto’s Frederick Banting, Charles Best, John Macleod and Bertram Collip did for diabetics ninety years ago.
