Cisco Systems hopes to break into the telemedicine market that GE, IBM, Intel and others now dominate, and it’s starting with its own employees. An internist at Cisco’s San Jose, CA campus is able to do teleconsultations for the company’s 4,300 employees in Research Triangle Park, NC, using a nurse with digital instruments in videoconferencing.
