Pub Med now records more than 800 biomedical articles every day. Many library services have curators who sort through this mountain of literature, but the Bio Automation Lab at Arizona State University has developed an automated extraction program called CBioC or “Collaborative Bio Curation” which works something like Wikipedia. Affiliated readers curate various fields and make new publications accessible. Already they have processed 1.8 million abstracts. MORE
