Telemedicine

The May 1, 2009 issue of Stroke: Journal of the American Heart Association has an article by Lee H. Schwamm, et al, “A Review of the Evidence for the Use of Telemedicine within Stroke Care Systems,” which concludes that teleconferencing allows neurologists to evaluate transient ischemic attacks with the same effectiveness as they do for major strokes.  MORE
