Srinivasa Nagulia, MD,  president and CEO of Diabetomics LLC (Beaverton, OR) has developed a proteomic test, based on 65 markers found in saliva, for prediabetic and type 2 diabetes.  Dr. Nagalla reported on this work at the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists recent meeting in Houston, but the news coverage did not mention the mass spectroscopy method (s) he uses, though he can be reached directly at   nagallas@oshu.edu.
