Handheld Dental X-ray

Aribex, Inc (Orem, UT) manufacturers lightweight, hand-held, rechargeable X-ray instruments that look something like a sci-fi “ray gun.”  This device, called “NOMAD,” was designed for taking dental images, but allows that to be done at the bedside in hospitals or nursing homes, and can be used in veterinary medicine and forensics (as in identifying disaster victims by their dental features).         MORE
