Telemedicine consult

“Social distancing,” because of COVID-19, may have been the need telemedicine was waiting for.  Almost everything in a medical appointment, short of a hands-on with the doctor, can now be done virtually, online.  This piece describes how one of the nation’s largest hospital systems, Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ, is applying this approach.  The questions are will this be a permanent change and will this cost the patient less.    MORE
