A More Precise CRISPR

Off targeting has always been a problem for the otherwise remarkable CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology. To improve the Cas9 enzyme’s targeting, researchers at Wenzhou Medical University in China have discovered a Cas9 mutation that finds mismatches as small as one DNA base pair.
