“Cyborg Organoids”

Harvard bioengineers have created cyborg mini organoids from culturing stem cells on a flexible, stretchable electronic mesh imbedded with sensors. As the stem cells grew and developed into cardiomyocytes they configured the flat mesh into a 3D structure. And they were able to monitor these electronic organs for activity over 90 days. MORE
