Basal cell carcinoma is a common-enough affliction for fair-skinned people. Usually it can be caught early, before spreading to cause nerve or muscle damage. This should be an application for a smartphone—its camera distinguishing the lesion from similar kinds, and its app based on a large study set of images that reveal progression.
