Psychiatry scientists at Yale University have found that in patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, but not from major depressive disorder, have elevated levels of metabotropic glutamine receptor (mGluR5), giving rise to the idea of suicide. This suggests a possible blood test for PTSD before suicide happens. MORE
