Telemedicine consultation

Last month, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid changed the 2019 “Physician Fee Schedule and the Quality Payment Program to allow, for the first time (under Medicare; this already existed for Medicaid) communication technology-based services for virtual consultations between a doctor and patient.  Supposedly, more CMS-covered telemedicine services will follow in 2020.   MORE
